Track Background: In high school, Tamny ran for the might Ball High School Lady Tornadoes track team from 1985-1989. After graduating from high school, she attended U.T.S.A., where in 1992-1993 they won the Triple Crown for the conference (cross country, indoor and outdoor track). In 1992 the 4 x 400 relay placed 4th at the NCAA Championship meet in Austin, Texas (Tamny ran the 2nd leg). After college, she completed in various events ranging from the 4 x 100 to the 4 x 400 relays, 200 and 400 meters and long jump.
Latest News: She just returned from having her third child and is now training and working diligently to hit the track blazing. Houston Elite is proud to have her as a teammate.
